Arinagour, Coll*: High water is 17 minutes after high water at Oban

Gott Bay*: High water is 7 minutes after high water at Oban

Tidal streams

South east side of Coll*: The north-east going stream begins at 4 hours and 30 minutes before high water at Oban. The south-west going stream begins at 2 hours after high water at Oban. The flow reaches a speed of 1.5 knots at springs.

South west of Tiree*: The north-east going stream begins at 6 hours before high water at Oban. The south-west going stream begins at 30 minutes after high water at Oban. The flow reaches a speed of 1.5 knots at springs.

Gunna Sound, south of Gunna*: The east south-east going stream begins at 1 hours and 45 minutes before high water at Oban. The west north-west going stream begins at 5 hours after high water at Oban. The flow reaches a speed of 2.5 knots at springs. Heavy overfalls can develop with wind opposing tide. The rate is closer to 2 knots away from the narrow passage between Gunna and Tiree. Stream may reach 3 knots at the narrowest point.

Around Skerryvore*: The north going stream begins at 6 hours before high water at Ullapool. The south going stream begins at 30 minutes after high water at Ullapool. The flow reaches a speed of 5 knots at springs.

North East point of Coll*: The north-east going stream begins at 6 hours after high water at Oban. The south-west going stream begins at at high water at Oban. The stream is strong between the small islands off the point.

To the north of the Creachasdal islands*: The tide flows south-east and north-west. The flow reaches a speed of 2 knots at springs.

Between Ardnamurchan Point and Coll*: The north north-east going stream begins at 4 hours and 50 minutes before high water at Oban. The south south-west going stream begins at 1 hours and 20 minutes after high water at Oban. The flow reaches a speed of 1 knots at springs. The flows are reported to reach 1.5 knots in some areas.
